Network Factory

A packet-first networking course app with lessons, chapter maps, references, capstones, and local progress.

Briefly

A networking course draft with real curriculum depth, with packaging and metadata still being tightened.

Network Factory is a networking course app with a real curriculum behind it: 13 chapters, 54 lessons, and 13 capstones from foundations through operations.

The app already has a homepage, course reader, map, references, and browser-stored progress. It reads like a practical networking course rather than a placeholder.

It is still early, but the useful pieces are already there: packet-first explanations, a navigable reader, and reference material that supports the lessons.

What I built

  • Curriculum covers network foundations, OSI thinking, packet structure, routing, security, troubleshooting, and operational practice.
  • Course reader pairs scenarios, concepts, packet views, diagrams, anti-patterns, exercises, quizzes, and source notes.
  • Map and reference views make the course easier to navigate than a folder of lessons.
  • The course already has enough structure to make the next polish pass straightforward.

A few notes

  • The app has homepage, course reader, map, and reference views.
  • Source curriculum identifies 13 chapters, 54 lessons, and 13 capstones as the single source of truth.
  • The local build has been checked against the homepage, course reader, map, and reference routes.
