Us Again

A private couples card game that gets better the more you use it — time-aware prompts, notes, reminders, and local export.

Briefly

A private couples card game built to feel useful after more than one night.

Us Again is a card game for couples, built as an iOS app. It knows the time of day, the day of the week, and when your anniversary is — and uses all of that to decide which cards to show.

The deck mixes deeper questions, lighter prompts, memory-lane threads, and anniversary cards that only show up when they make sense. It avoids repeating the same cards too soon, so the app gets better the more you use it.

Notes stay private on the device. You can export a session, share a card image, or simply keep the round between the two of you. There is no account and no cloud sync.

What I built

  • The app chooses cards based on timing, history, and context rather than pure shuffle.
  • Private notes and session history stay on the device.
  • Export and sharing are there when useful, but the app does not require an account.
  • The iPad layout, reminders, and read-aloud support make it more than a tiny card deck.

A few notes

  • Us Again is a shipped App Store app.
  • The home screen, card play, browse, settings, and round summary show the full private-session loop.
  • The privacy model is local-first: cards, history, and notes stay on the device.
